Cross Country

Your child has been selected to take part in the annual District Cross Country race that takes place on the afternoon of Tuesday 10th March at Swanley Park.

We walk the course at 1.15pm; girls’ race at 1.45pm; boys’ race at 2.15pm; presentation of medals and trophies at about 2.45pm. We expect to return to school in time for 3.15pm.

We will provide your child with black shorts, a white High Firs t-shirt and a sports jacket - you will need to provide socks and suitable running shoes for running on the grass in the park.

Children will eat lunch in school as usual. They will need to take with them a water bottle and potentially an extra snack.

Parents are more than welcome to come along and watch.
