District Cross Country

We will be competing in the District Cross Country Championships at New Barn Park on Wednesday 22nd May; this is approx. a 2km course. There will be one girls’ team and one boys’ team.

The competition will start at 1.15pm and should finish by 2.45pm. School staff will be supervising the children attending but parent transport will also be needed, please, leaving school at 12.45pm. Should we not be able to get enough transport then we may not be able to participate. Parents are also welcome to come along and support – please park in the Lower Car Park off New Barn Road, not at the Swanley Centre end of the park! Please be aware that Swanley Parks will charge for parking.

Children will return to school at the end of the afternoon as the event is normally over before the end of the school day.

A school PE shirt and jacket will be provided but your child will need black shorts, jogging bottoms and trainers, as well as their filled water bottle. Please could the shirt & jacket be washed and returned to school after the event. If you give permission for your child to participate, please complete the form below.
