School Meals

Our school meal provider, in conjunction with KCC, introduced a new system for ordering and paying for meals from September 2023.  Parents need to set up an account, log in and manage their child's requirements. Please see attachments below for more information.

All school meals need to be booked in advance and a meal choice made on the CH&CO website.  Please note that this must be done by 9am.  If your child is absent from school, and you have already booked a school meal (paid or free), this will need to be cancelled by 9am on the day of the absence to avoid charge.

SCHOOL MENU

Children in KS1 (Reception / Year 1 / Year 2):

School lunches are provided free for all of our KS1 children who would like them.  Please still use the CH&CO website to book meals & make menu choices for each day.

Although school dinners are free for all children in KS1, you may still be able to claim an additional £1320 Pupil Premium funding for your child’s educational needs! Click here to find out if you are eligible.

Children in KS2 (Years 3,4,5,6):

The price of meals is £2.67 per meal and must be paid in advance. Payment can only be made directly to our meal provider on the CH&CO website

Parents of children in KS2 may also be able to claim free school dinners for their child – and get an additional £1320 Pupil Premium funding for their child’s educational needs!

Free School Meals for KS2

Children entitled to free school meals will still need to book meals in advance and make menu choices on the CH&CO website but no payment will be required.

For any queries regarding school meals, please contact CH&CO.

Packed Lunches

We ask that packed lunches promote the school’s ‘Healthy Schools’ status and that they therefore do not contain chocolate, sweet items or fizzy drinks.  At the present time we do have children with severe allergies to nuts or other food items so there are restrictions on some foods being brought into school due to this.  We are therefore a nut free school – please do not send in any nut-based products and ask for your cooperation in supporting the well-being of these children.
